Campaign
Get a gift with all orders. Limited offer for EU customers only, as long as
in stock. Available on our Webshop when making a purchase. The tote bag cannot be combined with any discount codes or campaigns. Also, it cannot be exchanged for another style or returned for its value.

Please read the terms and conditions carefully before you shop at the Skall Studio webshop.

 

These terms and conditions (‘Terms and Conditions’) apply when you order or purchase goods from the webshop. The terms and conditions may be updated from time to time, for example to reflect changes in technology, our business model, our system capabilities or in relevant laws and regulations.

That is why we ask you to accept the terms and conditions every time you shop with us. Any reference to “you” or “your” means you as a user of the webshop, and any reference to “we”, “us” or “our” means Skall Studio. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you cannot order or purchase items from the webshop.

 

You have the right to cancel your purchase without giving any reason up to 14 days after the date on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and specified by you, takes physical possession of the goods. You can read more under ‘Right of cancellation’. The non-conformity rules of the Danish Sale of Goods Act apply to your purchase, which means that you have certain legal guarantees that the goods are in conformity with the agreement.



1. ORDERING

The webshop is open 24 hours a day, but may be closed at times for maintenance. We try as far as possible to perform such maintenance tasks at night.

 

An order placed on a public holiday or at the weekend will be processed on the following working day, or on one of the subsequent working days during busy periods.

 

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase goods at the webshop, and you must have a valid payment card that is accepted by us.

 

If you are under 18, you must have a legal basis to place an order. We can only process your order if the delivery address is a residential or business address to which we ship.

 

When do we reserve the right to cancel an order?

We reserve the right to cancel an order or purchase without being liable for damages or other costs in any of the following situations:

a) Your payment details are incorrect or cannot be verified.

b) Your order has been placed with the intent to commit fraud, etc., or has been placed in connection with a criminal offence or other illegal activity.

c) An unintentional error has occurred in the webshop, such as a payment error, etc.

d) We have reason to believe that you are under 18 years of age.

e) There is an error in the inventory, and the item you ordered is not available.

 

 

When are you bound by an order?

Before placing an order, you have the option to change any information you may have entered – this includes the delivery, billing and payment information. You also have the option of making changes to your order or removing items from your basket before completing the order.

 

When you click on ‘Pay’ and the receipt appears on your screen, you are bound by the purchase contract. You will receive an e-mail confirming your order.

 

After the conclusion of the contract, the rules on cancellation apply – see the specific section on ‘Right of cancellation’, below. Please contact our customer service if you have made a mistake during your order – they are ready to help you. 

 

Access to information

We store information, including the order confirmation, for a certain period of time and we recommend that you also save these documents, as they may not be available on the webshop afterwards.


Anti-fraud measures

To protect you and our other customers from fraud, and to maintain a high level of security for online purchases, we may perform a verification check. A verification check may include a check of the data you submit when ordering, including your address and payment details.

 

2. PAYMENT

 

We accept the following payment methods at the Skall Studio webshop:
Dankort, Mastercard, Visa, MobilePay (Denmark), PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay

CVV (Card Verification Value)

If you pay by credit card, you will be asked to enter the card’s security code. You’ll find the three-digit CVV security code on the back of your credit card – usually on the right-hand side. This security code is necessary for the payment to be processed and in order to maintain a high level of security.

SCA – Strong Customer Authentication

For customers within the European Economic Area (EEA), your payment will involve SCA – Strong Customer Authentication, which is in line with the revised EU Payment Services Directive (PSD2).

SCA is similar to what many people refer to as two-factor authentication: If you make purchases online with your debit or credit card, SCA may require you to use two different forms of authentication. As an example, instead of simply entering your PIN or password, in Strong Customer Authentication the customer is asked to enter a code generated on their bank app as a second step. For many people in Denmark, the second step will be to identify themselves via MitID. This makes it harder for fraudulent transactions to occur, and means you can shop more securely. This protects both us and you: if there are fewer fraudulent charges, it is good for everyone.

Payment procedure

Once your purchases are packed and leave our warehouse, ready to be despatched, your payment will be charged to your chosen payment service.


Prices and delivery

All of the stated prices for products include taxes and VAT. Costs relating to delivery, freight or postage may vary and will be added to each order. The options and prices will be clear when the purchase is made.

All applicable import duties, customs duties, brokerage fees, local sales taxes and other additional charges are the responsibility of the customer, and must be paid by you upon receipt of the shipment. If taxes apply, you must pay these to release your order. In addition, local customs practice may require you to provide additional information in order to delete your order. These rules vary from country to country. The government of your country determines the customs duties and taxes. For more information, please contact your local customs authority.

Currency

The prices in the webshop are displayed in various currencies, depending on your location. Please note that if you change your location or delivery address, this may affect the price and delivery costs.


3. DELIVERY

 

We offer free delivery if your order amount is more than EUR 130.
For orders under EUR 130 delivery prices will vary, depending on the carrier and delivery method chosen. The options and prices will be clear when the purchase is made.

Delivery options and delivery time estimates
We try to ensure that orders placed before 12:00 noon are despatched the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 noon will usually be despatched the next day.
 All shipments abroad are sent as an insured package and business mail, which means that the package can not be sent as a gift to non-EU countries in an attempt to avoid local taxes and duties.
Regular service in Europe is approx. 2-3 business days.

Reservation regarding time estimates for all delivery options
In busy periods, or for deliveries to mall islands, there may be delays in relation to the stated delivery time estimates.

NON-EU CUSTOMERS

Please note; Orders delivered to countries outside of the EU has to go through custom clearance and it’s the customers own responsibility to pay the given taxes and duties.
 
Depending on the shipping destination, you will be responsible for paying local taxes and duties on receipt of your order, this is the customers own responsibility to pay.
Also note that transportation cost and custom clearance cost associated with a cancellation/refusal of a package will be deducted from the amount refunded to you.

 

4. RETURNS & REFUNDS

You are always welcome to return your purchase within 14 days if it does not meet your expectations. The costs in connection with your return shipment lie on yours. You can buy a return label from us, or you can choose to take care of it yourself.


Exchange for something else? Unfortunately, we are unable to offer exchanges. Fortunately, there is a simple solution: If you would like a different size or colour, or perhaps a different item altogether, simply return your items as described below and then place a new order.

Switch to something else? Unfortunately, we are unable to offer exchanges. If you want a different size or colour or perhaps a completely different item, you simply return your order and then place a new order.

 

How to return

Create your return and get a return label here.
You will then receive your return label by email. You will also receive a return form, which you must enclose in the package.

The handling fee is EUR 15 and it will be deducted from the total amount of the return.

 

We always recommend that you secure a receipt as proof of sending the package – just to be on the safe side in case it gets lost on its way. You are responsible for your return shipment until we have received it.

Refund

Once we have received your return, we will process it as quickly as possible.

You will then automatically receive an e-mail with a credit note. The refund amount will be returned to your account via the payment method you used for the purchase. The amount usually appears on your account within 2-7 working days, depending on the card provider.

 

 

5. RIGHT OF CANCELLATION

You have the right to cancel your purchase without giving any reason within 14 days. Your right of cancellation expires after 14 days from the date on which you, or a third party other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods.

In the case of several items ordered in one order and delivered separately (i.e. separate deliveries), the right of cancellation expires 14 days after the date on which you, or a third party other than the carrier, are in physical possession of the last delivery.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (see contact details below) of your decision to cancel the order via an unambiguous statement (e.g. e-mail).

The cancellation period is met if you send your return before the cancellation period has expired.


Effect of right of cancellation
If you cancel your purchase, we will refund your payment for the order. This will be done within 14 days of the day on which we are informed of your decision to cancel the purchase. We will make the refund using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any charges as a result of the refund.

We will withhold the refund until we have received the goods.

You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods, but you can obtain a return label via our returns portal.

You must return the goods to us without undue delay, and in all cases within 14 days from the day on which you notify us of your cancellation of the purchase. The deadline is met if you comply with this. We recommend that you keep your receipt as proof of dispatch of the package. You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods caused by your handling of them if this affects the nature, characteristics or function of the goods.


Non-conforming, defective or incorrect goods
If you have received goods that are defective, or part of the order is missing, or we have delivered the wrong goods, please contact our customer service.

 

You are not responsible for any costs associated with the return of defective or incorrect goods. We will refund the purchase price and delivery costs once we have received the goods, unless you choose to order new goods to replace the original ones.

 

OTHER CONDITIONS

 

We make reservation for tax changes, pricing errors and typos, etc.


Webshop updates
We do our best to keep the webshop updated and ensure that the prices, offers, descriptions and other information about the goods are correct. However, spelling mistakes, pricing errors and errors in offers, descriptions and other product information may occur, and sometimes we find that the price of an item has been incorrectly displayed.


Force majeure
We cannot be held liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under the terms and conditions if the delay or failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control.


Invalidity
If one or more of the provisions in the terms and conditions is declared invalid in whole or in part, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply.


Transfer
Under the agreement, we are entitled to transfer our rights and obligations with you to a third party. We will notify you of any such transfer, and the service you receive will not be affected. By accepting these terms, you consent to any similar future transfer. At the same time, you agree that from the time we have notified you of the transfer, your rights can only be enforced against the third party in question.


Privacy policy
We treat your personal information in confidence. Please read our privacy policy, which explains how we use the personal data you provide during the ordering process, and through your use of the webshop in general.


Complaints
If you wish to complain about goods purchased from us, please contact our customer service. You can contact our customer service by phone, e-mail or ordinary post.

 

Complaints about goods purchased from us may be submitted to: Danish Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark. It is also possible to submit a complaint online via www.forbrug.dk.

You can also use the European Commission’s online complaints register to make your complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer living in another EU country. You can submit the complaint using this link:

Choice of law and jurisdiction
All agreements entered into between you  and us using these terms and conditions are governed by Danish law. Any dispute arising in connection with this agreement, including its existence or validity, must be brought before a competent court in Denmark. As a consumer, you can take legal action against us in the courts of your place of residence.
